We Exist at the Intersection of Peace and Creativity

Founded by Marissa Garcia, Pixel Paz is a global collective of female creatives from around the world. Together, we’ve lived in seven countries, speak three languages, and have 20 years of branding experience. We all share the same passion for graphic design — and Masters Degrees in Visual & Performing Arts from Cambridge — but each member of Pixel Paz approaches projects from a diverse set of strengths, backgrounds and interests. That means we can bring your brand to life beautifully, no matter your aesthetic.

As female entrepreneurs, each member of the Pixel Paz collective has a soft spot for supporting fellow female business owners like you. We’re here to lift each other up, and can’t wait to give you the branding and visual identity you need to to make the dream you’ve been hustling for a reality.

Behind the Name

Paz, which means “peace” in Spanish, was my Abuela’s maiden name. Pixel Paz is an homage to her — and to my family. It’s also how I approach everything I do: peacefully, with a deep respect for my roots.

Our Values

Inclusivity

As female, BIPOC entrepreneurs, we know all about the glass ceiling (and shattering it). That’s why we’re here to make all of our clients feel seen — because your dreams are just as important as the next person’s.

Transparency

We’re an open book here at Pixel Paz. We’ll always be up front about our work, time management, and expectations — and our ideal clients are too.

Integrity

We do everything from a place of authenticity and alignment — that includes being honest, and always following through on what we say we’re going to do.

Wonder

Dream branding starts with getting curious and opening yourself up to inspiration. We approach every project with a sense of discovery, and aim to encourage our clients to play along with us.

Pride

We take pride in every project we commit to — and we approach our work with a spirit of excellence to ensure our clients are proud of what we create for their brands.

Pixel Paz Founder & Lead Designer

Hola, I’m Marissa

Woman with dark curly hair wearing a colorful printed top, teal pleated skirt, gold hoop earrings, and a chunky chain necklace, smiling and looking to the side.

Current Location: Austin, TX

I’m the head designer, founder, and ring leader here at Pixel Paz. I’ve been in the branding and visual design space for over a decade. During that time, I have collaborated with international non-profits, two major global airports, and earned a Master’s Degree in Graphic Design and Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, and Advertising.

But my passion isn’t working with faceless corporations — what I really love is working with fellow female entrepreneurs like you. As a first-generation Mexican-American entrepreneur and Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, everything I do is rooted in helping women elevate their voices and their businesses. And I can’t wait to see what we create together.

When I’m not building beautiful brands for Pixel Paz’s clients, you’ll find me bailando salsa y merengue in Zumba, checking out the latest art gallery, planning my next trip abroad, and filling my house with as many beautiful plants as possible.

Illustrator Extraordinaire

Aïsha Piquer Planella

Aïsha is a seasoned illustrator who, with a Master’s Degree in Art and Design and Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, brings a unique, emotional perspective to her craft. Forever drawn to whimsy and wonder, her work has a special kind of magic. Aïsha’s portfolio encompasses everything from enchanting storybook illustrations to dynamic motion graphics — perfect for brands with a joyful, ethereal vibe.

When she’s not creating art, you’ll find Aïsha thrifting weird and wonderful clothing to add to her collection and getting lost in fantasy books.
